However, there’s one obvious downside - Chrome cannot recover passwords.įor example, delete a password from Chrome, and it’s gone forever. And since I use Chrome across all of my devices, the ability to have easy access to passwords without having to rely on some third-party application feels liberating. While Google Chrome’s built-in password manager doesn't carry all the bells and whistles of a dedicated utility such as LastPass or Dashlane, I find it quite adept for normal usage.
