Open up the Terminal app and type clang at the prompt. If you don't want to install the entire Xcode application, you can use the clang++ compiler from the command line.Gcc, Clang and Intel compiler work just fine as well as using the pgc++ driver. C Compiler can't find stdint.h on Mac OSX 10.11.3.
